- Manage resources to execute in terms of cost and schedule, based on planned / actual scope and mitigate risks associated with unplanned unfunded scope.
- Negotiate with peers, represented workforce, and program office to establish Just in Time (JIT) delivery of documentation for programs.
- Establishing unit performance goals and strategic planning required to achieve business and unit targets – Track, report, and respond, in a succinct manner, short-term and long-term results of departmental measures and match them to departmental goals.
- Utilizing performance measures to generate program schedules and budget estimates, improving predictability in quoting and parametric modeling tools- Utilize Root Cause Analysis of measurement data for “special cause” variation of data points as the basis for continual process improvements.
Utilize Six Sigma methodologies via DMAIC for existing processes and DFSS for new processes.
Advise Sr. Management on proper use of statistical measures to validate continual improvement projects within the ICS -Hardware Engineering organization.
- Promote the exchange of information among manufacturing, drafting and engineering setting targets and maintaining organizational performance measures- Promote the standardization of designs between departments for Drafting, Electronic and Mechanical design.
- Making staffing decisions based on review of work load forecasts and current work requests- Management of operating unit budgets and spending- Maintains and expands knowledge of related technical areas such as Configuration Management, and Mechanical Design, as it relates to the overall requirements of documentation.
- Minimal direction from Sr. Management in project execution.
Communicate with Sr. Management on technical and procedural issues that require attention.
- Logically explain the technical and procedural requirements for drawing creation- Act as the point of contact for technical leadership on relevant elements of continuous improvement opportunities for ICS-PSF drafting and doc services.
- Conducting yearly individual performance and developmental planning reviews with employees- Leading and participating in 6 Sigma projectSecretQualifications: Masters Degree in Engineering/technical discipline with a minimum 6 years of experience or Bachelors Degree in Engineering/technical discipline with a minimum 8 years of experience.
