Position Summary:

The IBX Facilitator is responsible for handling the routine coordination duties that take place in the Operations area and the customer care areas for the IBX (Internet Business Exchange). This position will report to the IBX Site Manager.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the IBX work queues via internal systems. This includes dispatch, updates, and escalations of tickets to the appropriate staff member.

- Record keeping of activities within the IBX including:

- Circuit inventories

- Installed power inventories

- Labor hours expended

Coordinating customer work visits with security.

Handling incoming phone calls to the IBX.

Assist with administrative tasks such as time cards, invoice verification, and ordering of office supplies.

Administer vendors providing standard office services: i.e. cleaning, copier, coffee.

Directly coordinate activities as needed with the Equinix Response Center (ERC).

Maintaining the conference room and tour schedules via Microsoft Outlook and internal systems.

In multi-tenant buildings, provide the interface between Equinix and the building management for any issues that may arise.

Qualifications/Experience:

- AA Degree or equivalent of 2+ years of experience in an administrative role.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Outlook 2000 and Internet Proficiency.
