SQL Server Database Administrator We are currently engaged in a project that requires a SQL Server Database Administrator on a long-term basis.

In this role, the SQL DBA will: Monitoring and tuning SQL Server performance with multiple tools including Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and Index Tuning; Setting up cluster, replication, log shipping, DR testing and planning, capacity planning; Managing TB sized databases; Security setup: database, active directory and windows level; SQL Server Installation and upgrade; Implementation of backup and restore strategies; Performance Tuning, Query Optimization; Connectivity and Database Consistency Checks using DBCC Utilities The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following: Windows 2008 multi-node clustering; Seven years Core SQL Server Production DBA; Strong analytical and debugging skills In order to be considered you must have the required experience as described.

This leadership position is part of the organization management team.

The individual must exhibit the ability to evaluate current processes and implement appropriate changes to ensure efficiency.

The individual will supervise three staff members and be responsible for all facets of the organization’s financial activities including but not limited to financial statement reporting, cash projections, A/P, A/R, billing and collection processes, cash flow management and banking.
