Client company in Telecom industry is seeking an Outside Plant Engineer for a 2+ yr contract position.
This individual is a Telecommunications Professional and must be capable of engineering routine and specific outside plant work orders, both distribution and feeder.
Must be capable of providing administrative and field support to the outside plant work forces.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is preferred.
Individual will be responsible for appropriating use of capital to initiate the design of network facility builds for the provisioning of high capacity circuits.
Strong Project Management skills are necessary to effectively respond to short interval due dates, negotiate site contingencies, collaborate with team members, leverage the use of legacy and next generation systems, issue work prints, order material, schedule Construction with field operations, update databases the completions of relevant steps and milestones, as well as accommodate the needs of our internal and external customers.
All qualified candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and background check upon offer.
