Project and Contract Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to inspire and lead the development of sound project and contract management and coordination at Nemours Health and Prevention Services (NHPS).

This intermediate program and policy analyst position will be responsible for assuring the effective implementation of project management and related contractual practices and processes at NHPS. These are key business systems that the Division is using to advance its health promotion agenda. The Analyst will be responsible for analysis and coordination of project, contract and related activities, improving project and contract management processes and procedures, supporting the development of appropriate project and contract documentation, and providing tutelage, training and management reporting across the spectrum of NHPS project and contract management activities in support of NHPS health promotion work.

This position will lead the development of key project and contract competencies and process standardizations, and provide integration between contracting, program and compliance requirements, strategic partners, and project management. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Providing portfolio-level coordination of contracts, agreements and projects,

- Analyzing, defining and flow charting necessary project and contract management requirements and processes,

- Monitoring all projects, contracts and related activities for compliance with business process protocols, including project and contract management methodologies,

- Coaching for performance with respect to contract development, project management and related documentation,

- Coordinating training and delivering presentations,

- Identifying and resolving project and contract management process barriers,

- Drafting contracts, agreements, and project documents as required,

- Updating, modifying and standardizing NHPS project management and contract development tools, procedures, and documentation to maximize and improve the efficiency of NHPS processes.

This position, situated in the Office of the Senior Vice President, will report to the NHPS Senior Policy and Compliance Analyst and interact directly with Associates, project team leaders and Center Directors to ensure alignment with Nemours project, contract and core business management processes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm to help shape and influence a rapidly growing division; substantial knowledge of and experience with project and contract principles, practices and methods and a demonstrated ability to apply these methods in operationalizing projects and contracts. The candidate should be knowledgeable of and have experience in optimizing the integration of contracts and project management requirements with healthcare business needs and contractor requirements. In addition, the candidate will be knowledgeable of compliance requirements and have the ability to analyze and identify system deficiencies.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

I. Education, Training and Experience

Education: At least a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline desired with appropriate hands-on experience in project management, contract development, and process analysis.

Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in coordinating complex projects and contracts with teams, and substantial experience in analyzing project and contract needs and drafting required project documents and contracts. Computer proficiency with project software, Word and Excel as well as excellent keyboarding skills.

Christiana Care is currently seeking experienced Vascular Technologists for full-time Morning shift (11pm-7:00am)positions in our Peripheral Vascular Lab at Christiana Hospital. Christianaa Hospital, located in Newark, Delaware, is a 780-bed tertiary care and regional referral center and the state’s only Level-1 trauma center.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of recent experience as a Vascular Technologist. Canidates must be a graduate of an AMA-approved program in ultrasound or other allied health profession or posses equivalent training.
