HR & Talent Management Senior Managers will manage large complex HR programs focused on HR strategy, HR Service Delivery Model or HR Outsourcing projects for clients within the Resources industry (Utilities, Chemicals, Energy / Oil and Gas, Natural Resources / Metals / Mining). Senior Managers will also support the solution design efforts associated with new business sales and the development of HR and Talent Management assets. Responsibilities include managing large complex global HR or talent management efforts, developing senior level client relationships (e.g., CHRO, Chief Talent Officers) and managing several workstreams on a single client engagement. Key Responsibilities: Develop HR or talent management solution plans and proposals for Resources clientsServe as a Subject Matter Advisor providing HR and Talent Management leading practice perspectives in support of both sales and delivery effortsLead analysis efforts to drive strategic recommendations related to HR for Resources critical workforces (unionized, and craft “blue collar” workforces)Articulate the Accenture value proposition for HR and Talent Management solutions specifically for Resources clientsUse proprietary Accenture tools to diagnose HR and Talent Management gaps/needs, specifically in the areas of HR operating models, processes and supporting technologiesEstimate and develop timelines and strategies for implementing improvement opportunities/recommendationsValidate and Socialize business cases to articulate solution costs and efficienciesDesign HR processes and/or service delivery models, using our Accenture leading practices, with an emphasis on HR Shared Services and enabling technologyUnderstand and contribute to HR and Talent Management leading practices Lead HR and Talent Management engagements managing relationships with the client sponsors and Accenture senior leadersGuide teams through problem definition, issue identification and workplan development using problem solving principles and past experience Monitor achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits, ensuring planned business outcomes are achievedDevelop and manage project budgetsDevelop and manage risk/issue management plansCreate and present content for executive level presentationsAbility to meet travel requirements, up to 100% Qualifications Basic Qualifications Minimum of 8 years experience implementing re-designed HR processes/operating models and talent management strategies including associated HR technology solutions Minimum of 5 years experience in 6 or more of the following HR processes: Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Time & Attendance/Labor, Performance Management, Employee Data Management, Succession Planning, Learning and Development, Recruitment or Workforce PlanningMinimum of 5 years of project management experience including project plan development and trackingMinimum of 3 years proven sales experienceMinimum of 3 years supporting HR / Talent Strategy / Competency activities within at least one of the relevant resources industries of utilities, chemicals, oil and gas / energy, or natural resources thus demonstrating a basic understanding of the core HR functional requirements and business processes: Utilities: Customer Services, Transmission and Distribution, Generation, or Enabling Corporate Services such as IT or Supply ChainEnergy / Oil and Gas: Refining and Marketing, Exploration and Production, Oil Field Services, or Enabling Corporate Services such as IT or Supply ChainChemicals: Marketing and Sales, Core Operations, or Enabling Corporate Services such as IT or Supply ChainNatural Resources: Metals Production and Plant Maintenance, Marketing and Sales, Mining, or Enabling Corporate Services such as IT or Supply ChainBachelor’s degree Preferred Skills Experience implementing HR solutions for management, unionized, and craft “blue collar” workforcesExposure to labor relations and HR regulatory reporting requirements within the Resources industry (such as Nuclear)Strong knowledge of planning large service contracts (or with service content)Deep HR functional knowledge across multiple HR areas (Payroll, HR Shared Service, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Time and Labor)Experience defining HR, competency, and workforce strategy including understanding how to obtain the voice of the customer for HRExperience assessing and / or developing HR metrics and KPIs and / or HR benchmarkingPrevious experience in assessing and developing optimal HR operating models and organizational structures such as shared services and outsourcing arrangements and solution plansDeep knowledge of the HR market and applicationsHighly developed presentation skills gained in a client-facing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)Demonstrated ability to manage time and multiple commitments/projects simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsPublishing/ Presenting HR topical point of views (White Papers, Published Articles, Presentations to HR forums All of our consulting professionals receive comprehensive training covering business acumen, technical and professional skills development.
