Job Description: We have a challenging opportunity in our Corporate Headquarters for a detail-oriented Sr. Credit Supervisor with exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities.
The selected candidate will provide supervision and support on various credit and commercial collection projects for our LagasseSweet Subsidiary.Key responsibilities include: Assist in managing AR portfolio and supervising staff Perform risk assessment on new and existing customers Assist in collecting accounts and managing risk on large dollar or sensitive accounts Assist in maintaining Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance on receivable portfolio Supervise staff of collectors toward department goals Effectively manage and resolve deductionsClick here to apply via the United Stationers Career Opportunity PortalJob Experience: Qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or related discipline• Advanced degree, a plus• 10 years commercial collection (business to business) experience• 5 years of proven supervisory experience• Familiarity with Dun and Bradstreet reporting systems and risk analysis• Proficiency in Excel• Proven skills in problem solving and decision making• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and mentoring skills• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service oriented environment• International credit and collections experience, a plus• Bilingual in Spanish, a plus• NACM Credit certified, a plusMinimum Education Required: BachelorYears of Experience Required: More than 5 yearsExpected Travel Time: None
