The Air Defense Tactical Operations Center Operator primarily supervises or serves as a member of an early warning team.
The duties of an Air Defense Tactical Operations Center Operator include detecting, tracking, and identifying aircraft; broadcasting early warning information; and performing other operations and intelligence duties in Air Defense units.

Job training for an Air Defense Tactical Operations Center Operator consists of nine weeks of Basic Training, where you’ll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
Part of this time is spent in a classroom and part in the field under simulated combat conditions.
