Position Summary The Research Credentialing Coordinator performs numerous detail-oriented duties in processing new research personnel including education verification, scope of practice management, and initiation of background checks.
The incumbent will demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills; demonstrate the ability to prioritize and follow-through; demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees and internal/external partners; demonstrate the ability to provide direction regarding compliance with policies and procedures while maintaining and protecting sensitive information; strive to think innovatively about process and customer service improvements.

1. Collect information and maintain accurate records for personnel files and databases.

2. Process credentialing information and schedule applicable training sessions for employees.

3. Meet with employees to complete necessary paperwork and discuss research requirements.

4. Contact with human subjects: None Other Functions
1. Collaborate with senior management and Human Resources with various projects.
2. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements: Education Level Bachelors degree is preferred.
High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Experience 2+ years of Human Resources and/or administrative experience is preferred.
Specific Skills High-level of customer service when working with internal/external partners and co-workers is a must.
Must be able to work effectively in stressful situations.
Must be able to receive process and provide visual and verbal information in an open/common area work environment.
Must be able to respond to concurrent, multiple, non-related issues.
Must be able to provide timely response to external/internal conditions and deadlines.
Must be able to work both independently and under close supervision.
