About the Job: Serves as a proactive member of the Retail Branch Team by being an initial sales and service contact for new and existing clients. Supports the retention and growth of profitable client relationships through sale of basic deposit and consumer loan products. Identifies and resolves complex client service opportunities. Analyzes required financial and personal data to cross sell products and services to clients. Recommends products and services to help the client achieve financial goals and the team achieve business goals. Recognizes complex product and financial services opportunities and refers to appropriate sales professionals in Retail, Investment Services, Mortgage or Business Banking. Essential Job Functions: – Provides basic banking sales solutions for basic deposit products and consumer loan products. – Supports acquisition of new clients and growth of current book of business by contacting and following up on system generated leads to prospect for cross sell and retention and documenting activities by using the call report feature in the desktop. – Grows a profitable book of business to achieve individual and team goals. – Provides sales and service assistance to walk-in clients. Develops and maintains broad knowledge of products and services to appropriately support client needs. – Ensures compliance with operational, security an audit procedures and policies affecting incentive compensation. – Participates and occasionally facilitates daily branch team meetings. Required Qualifications: – 2 year Business Associate Degree or equivalent professional business experience. – Minimum of 2 years call center, customer service, telesales, telemarketing, or retail sales experience. – Demonstrated strong customer service skills. – Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – General understanding and knowledge of financial services products. – Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities. – Ability to use applicable equipment, which may include: PC Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel), Desktop, Branch Teller Workstation.
