Communication Internship – MUST BE currently enrolled in a degree program. This internship will be ongoing throughout the year.

The perspective intern must fully understand TCP/IP addressing and fundamental networking concepts. Although school projects and studies are always the priority, he or she must be reliable and report for work when scheduled. A self starter that enjoys participating in a team oriented and highly active work environment will find this to be an ideal position to learn all aspects of network management and support.
ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVE/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring help desk tickets for troubles and taking the appropriate corrective actions to restore service and update the knowledge base for future events.
- Monitoring help desk requests for change and taking the appropriate actions to document the planned configuration and schedule it’s implementation.
- Review and assess completed changes, and update network management applications appropriately.
- Interact with customers and network engineers when necessary to support testing and/or analysis to determine requirements for future changes.
- Review outstanding change requests and trouble tickets for service levels.
