SOAR @Green Valley Ranch opened its doors to 235 Kindergarten through second grade students in August 2010, and the second SOAR school will open in Far Northeast Denver in August, 2011.

Director of Curriculum and Instruction at SOAR · Supports the Principal in creating a safe, joyful, rigorous and inclusive learning environment for students and staff, framed by high and explicit expectations; · Ensures curriculum alignment with Colorado Standards and SOARs instructional approaches; · Implements effective internal assessment systems and uses data to inform decisions; · Demonstrates, co-teaches, and observes teachers and meets with them to provide feedback; · Supports teacher unit planning and assessment design; · Works with the CMO to plan and implement professional development activities; · Seeks and shares curriculum and instructional practices from other schools and professional journals; · Attends teacher meetings, supports teachers, and facilitates positive faculty dynamics; · Coordinates standardize testing processes and reporting.

Qualifications · Must have prior successful teaching experience in an urban setting; · Must have a masters degree in education; · Must have prior successful leadership experience in an urban setting.

Description: Responsibilities for AC-130H Pilot: Deliver platform instruction to Special Operations aircrew utilizing ATARS courseware and training media.

Provide instruction to aircrew utilizing static aircraft, aircrew training devices and computer based instruction.

Operate training devices and serve as role players for mission rehearsal operations.

Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for lesson and course development, maintenance and upgrade.

Maintain familiarity with applicable tech orders and AFSOC instructions and review courseware to ensure accuracy of lesson content.

Submit training change proposals (TCPs) where appropriate for development and upgrade of lessons.

Fly, at least annually, as observer on AC-130H aircraft to observe current aircrew procedures and techniques.

Support engineering and maintenance functions during test and evaluation of training devices.

Perform other collateral duties as assigned by the Training System IPT Lead.

Reports to the Contract Weapon System Lead regarding accomplishment of assigned duties and responsibilities.

Other duties as assigned.

Comply with all Lockheed Martin policy and procedures.

Experience in military flight operations and training; Current in US military aircraft within the previous 4 years, or within the previous 6 years if the candidate has performed eleven (11) years of military operational flying duty; minimum of 800 hours of total time in US Military aircraft; minimum of 200 hours of instructor time in US Military aircraft.

Working knowledge of the following regulations: TO 1C-130(A)H-1, AFI 11-2AC-130 Vol 1, AC-130 Aircrew training; Vol 2, AC-130 Evaluation Criteria; Vol 3, AC-130 Operations Procedures; and all appropriate, current AFSOC regulations.

Description:

Experience:
Level 4/4 native or near-native fluency in the required language. Five years combined experience in language education and methodology and adult education required.
