Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Regional HR Manager and the HR Generalist, conducts the recruiting efforts, interviewing process and hiring for respective areas of responsibility. Duties may include researching and resolving issues; answering general Human Resources-related questions; and entering date into HR spreadsheets. Performs duties utilizing knowledge of HR, departmental and company policies and procedures. Maintains confidentiality.

PAY for POSITION: $10 – $12 per hour
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: · Recruit, interview and screen qualified applicants for open, available positions. Increase applicant base by expanding recruitment techniques and alternating resources; research unique recruiting sources while maintaining a diverse workforce· Ensure pre-employment checks have been completed for selected candidates prior to job offers being made· Schedule selected candidates for new-hire training; process all new-hire paperwork to ensure compliance with all federal and company guidelines· Implement and maintain applicant tracking for Affirmative Action compliance; implement and maintain turnover tracking, monthly and year-to-date attrition reports within specified area of responsibility.· Work with HR Generalist to create and place all recruitment advertisements for available positions within business unit using internal and external contacts· Represent Sears Home Services at job fairs and recruitment events to increase diverse applicant flow· Work with location management to develop and document processes and practices that are consistent with company guidelines to resolve employee issues · Develop and ensure clear and consistent communication processes exist with hiring manager in order to meet company recruitment goals for available positions· Develop and ensure clear and consistent communication processes exist with Regional HR Manager and HR Generalist in order to ensure constant communication between Human Resources and business unit concerning issues within the department· Suggest and maintain positive employee morale by assisting in coordination of employee activities and functions· Conduct other duties as assigned.
