Qualifications – Knowledge of internal business applications and audience- Experience working with qualitative and quantitative market research- Experience conducting win/loss analyses for a competitive landscape- Automotive experience strongly preferred- Online experience preferred- Strong data and analytic capabilities; ability to conceptualize and analyze data in a highly iterative environment- Demonstrated expertise in core product management processes; pragmatic marketing method preferred- Negotiation, collaboration, influencing and working in a matrixed environment- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred Responsibilities – Develop, define and drive a business application product strategy and roadmap in order to improve cross-departmental understanding and planning of tool performance improvements, enhancements, and/or retirements- Assess and map assigned application portfolio and methodically research, identify needs, gaps and redundancies; recommend and drive optimizations and identify new opportunities- Create a sound portfolio management game plan and roadmap for assigned tool applications which will include, prioritization, process, resource identification, ROI (actual and anticipated) and release plan schedules- Create an escalation and approval process for partners to use when requesting changes to applications that affect frontline processes and/or tools- Based upon continued partnership with Customer Ops departments, IT, Product Strategy, Sales, and EPM, define, lead and manage a cohesive, clearinghouse/governance process to ensure business objectives are met and supported- Assess defined product and business opportunities and develop application plans and financial models to support increased capacity, productivity, efficiency, or reduced costs- Ensure that application strategies are translated into actions through the creation and maintenance of a roadmap and any necessary high-level documentation- Manage and direct a small team to support the above efforts- Effectively engage and influence senior decision makers cross-departmentally- Define a strategic product plan/roadmap and analyze application performance- Ability to understand market needs and develop business cases- Develop and execute a communication strategy
