The DeKalb County Rehab & Nursing Center, a 190 bed long term care facility comprised of geriatric, long, and short-term care residents, is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing.

Under the Director of Nursing, this position will assist in the administration of nursing services including: · Assisting with planning, development, implementation, evaluation and revisions of nursing policies and procedures· Developing and maintaining qualified staff to carry out resident care services· Responsibility for implementation of nursing care of all residents and assuring quality of care is rendered to all residents in compliance with all state and federal regulations applicable to a skilled long term care facility.

· Assisting with development and monitoring of nursing department goals, objectives, productivity and effectiveness Candidates for the Assistant Director of Nursing position should meet the following requirements: · Must have current state of Illinois license as a registered professional nurse.

· Formal training or 4 or more years experience in restorative and gerontological nursing; and 3 or more years experience in management or supervision.

· Knowledge of gerontological and restorative nursing skills · Working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that apply to skilled Medicare/ Medicaid certified facilities including reimbursement processes.

· Knowledge and understanding of the federal RAI Medicare processes.

· Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practices and Nursing Practice Act.· Knowledge of labor laws, OSHA rules & regulations and current union contract.

· Requires excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and decision making abilities, flexibility and efficient time management abilities.

· Must be able to establish and maintain a working relationship with professional & non-professional personnel, residents, families and the general public.

In this role, you will assist the physician and coworkers in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a team environment.

Requirements for Cath Lab Radiology Technologist:

Diploma/Associates degree/Bachelors degree.

ARRT and NJ Radiology license required. ARRT (CV), CVT, OR RCIS preferred.

1 to 3 years of Radiology experience required. Cardiac Cath and/or Special Procedures experience preferred. BLS required. EKG interpretation and scrub experience preferred.

Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating flexibility, diplomacy, tact, and foresight. Performs well working in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Enjoys working in a team environment.
