Supply Chain Business Analyst Responsible for support, analysis, and follow-up on Supply Chain activities and projects in Production Planning, Inventory Management and/or Distribution.
Act as a liaison and key contact between IS developers, technical operations, business owners, and users.
Utilize SAP APO-SNP to monitor Capacity Utilization by individual Production Line and determine solutions to resolve short and long term capacity constraints.
Key contact point for database maintenance, including all item master set up requested.Key contact person for functional bugs; manage bug resolution and proper testing activities.
Work with Help Desk resources on application support and root cause problem resolution.
Participate in the continuous improvement program.
Assist user groups in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents for their specific functions utilizing Microsoft Word and Office Applications.
Identify opportunities to reduce cost and improve performanceWork on all assigned projects to produce timely, accurate and actionable results Experience/Education required: BA degree in a related discipline preferred.
3 to 5 years experience in logistics or project management.
Proven track record in the effective and successful planning and execution of projects.
Strong systems knowledge with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues, familiarity with ERP systems environment (preferably Oracle; PkMS and SAS) In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have: Strong systems knowledge with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issuesExtensive knowledge and experience with subject business area practices and proceduresBe detail oriented with solid analytical skillsTeam oriented with experience in facilitating scheduled team meetings and work sessionsOrganizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work and perform under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environmentStrong ability to communicate effectively and professionally in verbal and written form to internal/external customers, all management levels, team members and co-workersKnowledge of standard software applications, ie Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Access.
Area of Responsibility: The Scope and Objectives of the Systems Support / Project Management team is to support Supply Chain activities (Current & New Business Initiatives), by improving integration, reactivity and coherence within North American Operations supply chain; optimizing inventory, logistic costs and create efficiency; providing the expected service rate; integrating new acquisitions; building and maintaining a robust/flexible IT system; keeping control of projects through governance; promoting Supply Chain best practices and enhancing Support team expertise.
