Corporate paralegal needed for financial services company in the loop.
Responsibilities will include: • Organize board and committee meetings, prepare materials for the same and assist with minutes.
• Prepare legal documents, such as state and city governmental filings, and maintain the registration of the Firm and the funds of hedge funds that it managers.
• Organize and maintain the Firm’s corporate records and legal documents, including corporate minutes and contracts.
• Handle confidential and non-routine information .
• Schedule and organize meetings, travel, and department activities.
• Acts as law librarian, keeping and monitoring legal volumes and ensuring legal volumes are up-to-date.
• Special projects as necessary.
