WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our Creve Coeur, MO. Specialty Risk Services office is seeking a Lost Time Claim Service Representative with a minimum of 2+ years of workers’ comp experience and superior claims handling technical skills. Jurisdictional territory will include primarily WI and MN.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

College degree preferred

2 + years’ experience in workers’ compensation claim handling

Primary jurisdiction is MO. IL, IA, NE and KS are also highly desired but not mandatory

Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills are required

Excellent planning and organizational skills are required skills for success

Ability to work in a team environment is required

PC skills are desirable

WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?

This position is a Tier Position and the Tier and Compensation will be based on experience, skills and qualification of the selected candidate. WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

The selected handler will work in a TPA, team-oriented environment, with support from nursing, vocational rehabilitation, special investigators and liability consultants. Responsibilities will include investigation, reserving, medical and disability management, valuation and disposition of all claims assigned. Customer service is key to success. The Lost Time claim handlers have approximately 175 outstanding files with an intake of approximately 20 new claims per month.
