Coordinates assigned move projects with other resources such as JCI staff, contractors and client’s staff.

Typically manages move and relocation projects of greater than $5,000.

May also manage simple fitout projects related to a move (eg paint, carpet, and minor construction not requiring a building permit).

Moves in excess of $250,000 will typically require collaboration with a project manager.

Principal Duties: Areas of involvement may include: • Communicates with customer to define relocation key success factors and continues to communicate with customer throughout the relocation process to develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for the project.

• Works directly with client to strategically develop space assignments and plan for reorganizations utilizing their staffing forecasts.

Represents JCI in a professional manner at all times and with all levels of the client’s organization.

• Coordinates all office moves and lab move projects.

Maintains move schedules and project plans as well as identifies risk factors for the customer.

Ensures all move projects be completed to customer satisfaction and in compliance with the contract.

• Develops project cost plan and upon the customer’s and JCI management’s approval, has full responsibility for the relocation project and budget.

• Manages and co-ordinates relocation contractors and procurement needs • Maintains and provides space planning for offices and labs.

This includes assigning space locations to new hires, contractors, and temporary personnel.

• Provides signage planning services for architectural and office signage requests.

• Reports to JCI account management and client’s management on project progress and formal project reviews.

• Complies with client-planning standards to maintain space inventories and catalogs.

Requirements: Associates degree in interior design, architecture, project management, construction technology, or related field and 5 years experience in managing systems furniture moves/project management in office and/or lab environments preferred.

High school diploma with 10 years experience managing systems furniture moves acceptable.

Excellent organizational and communications skills.

Knowledge of PC applications including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD/Revit.

Ability to read and interpret furniture installation drawings and simple construction and electrical drawings.

Ability to update AutoCAD/Revit drawings.
