IMMEDIATE OPENING! HIRING NOW! Property Management company headquartered in Southern California is looking to hire an onsite property manager for a 100 unit apartment community located in Bakersfield.

This position will require the manager to live on the property.

The manager will oversee the day to day operations of the community, advertising and filling vacancies, screening and qualifying potential residents.

The manager will supervise the leasing and maintenance staff and will report to the regional manager on a regular basis.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of actual experience as a property manager.

Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred, but not necessary.

The ideal candidate will have experience in affordable housing (tax credit) programs, or be willing to learn.

The manager must have: + Good organizational and communication skills.

+ Excellent follow through skills to ensure completion of tasks and the ability to meet deadlines.

+ Must have an upbeat personality and be a problem solver.

+ Must be computer literate in a variety of programs, and possess the ability to learn additional programs.

This position offers a good salary, with benefits after a standard probationary period plus a free apartment.
