This position will be responsible for ensuring that all Participants remain in compliance with the terms of the ISO’s Financial Assurance Policy (FAP) in accordance with departmental procedures.
This position is also responsible for the administrative duties of the department and for providing customer support to Participants as it may relate to the provisions of the FAP. Responsibilities include: Becoming proficient on the terms of the FAP and performing as the primary point-of-contact regarding FAP questions both internally and externally.
Utilizing the ISO’s Financial Assurance Management system to determine and communicate Participants’ financial assurance requirements.
Requiring manual and automated data entry as well as Participant outreach via phone and email as well as conducting timely and responsive follow-up as necessary Resolving customer questions and concerns that require researching and interpreting of the FAP Identifying and implementing efficiencies and improvements in processes, procedures, and systems Maintenance of departmental files and procedures Conduct quarterly maintenance of Credit Department procedures, maintenance of credit files/documentation, and preparing formal letters.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Communications or equivalent experience required.
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and presentation skills required Proficiency with MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Experience using Analytical Reporting Tools such as Oracle Discoverer and Crystal Reports is a plus Experience providing exceptional customer service and working successfully in a team environment Demonstrated ability to work independently under demanding time constraints while exhibiting excellent decision-making capabilities and attention to detail Must exhibit very good organizational skills, and must be accountable and responsible for actions.
Desired qualities include: An understanding of deregulated electric utility markets and knowledge of the New England wholesale energy market.
Experience with SQL or other database querying methods and concepts Experience in the design, development/testing and implementation of software solutions and business procedures Understanding of ISO functions and cross-departmental dependencies as they relate to Market Participant issues.
