**An active Secret clearance is required**Raytheon BBN Technologies seeks a quality assurance engineer with software development experience to join the Cyber Security Business Team located in Cambridge, MA. The ideal candidate will be skilled in quality assurance, software design, coding, and testing.Our Cyber Security Business Unit is addressing some of the hardest challenges in computer and network security.
Our world-class team of researchers and developers is constantly tackling problems that are considered “too hard” for today’s commercial markets.
Members of our team perform all functions of the software development life cycle, from brainstorming and system design through testing and delivery.
And we have a lot of fun doing it! Minimum Experience: * Experience designing, developing, and executing system test plans for multiple products through automated code & system tests.
* Participating in code/system design to guarantee testability & requirements traceability.
* Participating in code reviews to ensure code compliance.
* Low-level systems (embedded or real-time) design, development, integration, and test, including mastery of development systems such as configuration management, bug tracking, automated build, and automated test.
* Skills in one of the following (or equivalent) languages: C, C++, Java, Python.
* Automated GUI testing experience.
* A track record of exceeding customer and stakeholder expectations.
* Minimum of 5-7 years applicable work experience.
* Active Secret clearance.
Additional desired experience: * Commercial and open source software quality assurance (SQA) tools and procedures.
* Experience with Certification and Accreditation of major software applications and systems to meet DoD guidelines.
* Experience with networking essentials, particularly TCP/IP* Network programming, network device integration and configuration.
* Knowledge of cyber security related disciplines, including: vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection, virtual private networks (VPNs), cryptography, firewalls, and penetration testing.
