Inside Sales Lead Qualifier/AnalystCompete is looking for a high energy producer to take the Inside SalesLead Qualifier/Analyst role for Compete.com to the next level. You willexecute telephone marketing efforts to qualify leads and prospects forthe Inside Sales Team via inbound or outbound marketing efforts. Theposition is the first point of contact for prospective customers and isresponsible for successfully communicating the Compete.com valueproposition to inbound leads, primarily over the phone. This positionreports directly to the General Manager of Compete.com, but may also beassigned to work on special projects with the Direct Sales teams. Theideal person will want to have a career in sales and will use thisopportunity to hone their skills to become a top salesperson. Thisposition is local to Compete’s Boston headquarters.  Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:• Qualify leads and prospects for the Inside Sales Team via inbound or outbound calling efforts.• Make outbound calls to current or prospective Compete clients for thepurpose of qualifying the target’s interest in purchasing Compete’sservices. • Identify up-sell/cross-sell opportunities to existing customers.• Handle inquires generated by Inside Sales/Vertical Sales on-boardinginitiatives and marketing campaigns with the intent of promotingCompete products and services to qualify interest and purchasepotential. • Generate sales leads, refer these leads to the Inside Sales Manageror the Vertical Sales Team under specific circumstances, and supportrevenue generation. • Provide reports as needed to show lead generation and/or qualification metrics. • Track and organize leads to ensure timely follow-up for achieving the desired results.• Perform sales database and record keeping activities.• Keep current on product features, advantages, benefits, and sellingpoints for effective communication and needs diagnosis duringqualification process. • Meet or exceed all published productivity standards measured weekly, monthly and YTD. Skills:• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred• Minimum 1-2 years inside sales and/or telemarketing experience withcold calling and lead generation or outbound business-to-business salesqualifying in SAAS, Search marketing, Online Advertising services• Excellent customer service and telephone skills; excellent listener, excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to navigate corporate structures to identify decision makers.• Ability to have well-structured conversations with prospects at all levels of the organization.• Possess confidence in conducting cold calls and creating selling relationships with potential customers.• Demonstrated track record of achieving aggressive established targets or sales objectives.• Background in syndicated product/solution selling is a plus.• Pleasant demeanor and phone presence required.• Outstanding time management skills; self managed and self-motivated.• Good analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. • Ability to work independently and without day-to-day supervision. • Knowledge of SalesForce and able to use as primary CRM system.• Willingness to be part of a team environment, where interactionwith inside sales professionals and marketing personnel is necessary toachieve sales goals. • The ability to accept and handle objections appropriately. • Ability to maintain an acceptable level of discretion on the job. • Must possess a high level of desire for success and a positive attitude. • Position is local to the Boston area.
