Our client is seeking an ETL/Informatica Software Engineer and Database Administrator.
This is a 3 month contract to hire opportunity and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
FRT ETL/Informatica Software Engineer and Database Administrator Responsibilities Manage & Develop Oracle 11 databaseResponsible for all maintenance of Oracle db Develop Oracle Stored Procedures & related PL/SQL code to support key processes Create/Modify all database ObjectsTables/Columns Views Materialized ViewsIntegrate Oracle stored procedures with other corporate technology Manage Data LoadingPrimary ETL Resource responsible for Importing client data into corporate database Prepare multiple forms of structured data for loading Import data into database Performs Data Transforms and Data Cleansing Develop scripts to automate processes Employ Informatica DataTransformation tool to facilitate and automate ETL processesPerform daily business operationsWork closely with internal resources in daily execution of business processes Execute stored procedures and other processes when necessarySoftware Application DevelopmentWork closely with all internal and some external resources to help define requirementsDocument requirements when necessaryDevelop new proprietary business application to support strategic business processes using the following technologiesOracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures JAVA Requirements Oracle 11 SQL ExperienceDevelopment ExperiencePL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions/Packages, etc. Ad hoc queriesExperience in creation/modification of all database objectsTables/Columns Views Materialized ViewsDatabase Management/Maintenance ExperienceBackup and restore General database administration Performance testing and tuningETL ExperienceLoading transactional data into Oracle database Experience with Informatica DataTransformation tool a plus Familiarity with best practices re Data Transforms and Loading Experience with Oracle SQL LoaderGeneralExperience in OLTP databases Financial or Accounting experience Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing environment Comfortable in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Experience in Agile SDLC or similar Comfortable balancing daily processing work with new development effortsSoftware Development ExperienceDeveloping User Interfaces Developing Financial transactional applications
